No, what really rankles is that the NBA managed to botch this salary cap jump so badly that Bradley Beal ended up with a max contract. Surely that’s the kind of thing the system should be set up to prevent. . . As I’ve advocated many times in the past, NBA free agents should be distributed to teams according to their needs, as perceived by me. . . Onward and upward! One fascinating aspect about the rise of the Warriors is how, in one way, it parallels that of the tech industry in nearby Silicon Valley.
