Ghostly echoes down darkened chasms
Quickening footfalls skitter a heartbeat
Shudders withering frantic spasms
Glisten forcefully, wanton hardscrabble
For night is upon us
And demons prowl the area over by the side of the house
Spectral indigents float overhead
Screeching flatulent murderousness
Weirdly reminiscing over corpulent scones
Feverish dreams, ravenous picadillos
Of another night
With demons ruining my herb garden
Lightning flashes a shadowy essence
Goblin-like fingers creep, closing in
Decadent loveseats comfort blasphemers
Hummus-drenched dreadfuls delight
The dark of night
Grants demons free reign to eat all my dill, apparently
You wouldn’t believe how much dill those bastards eat.
